Semiconductor inks

P-TYPE SEMICONDUCTOR INKS:

  • CIS (Copper-Indium-Sulfide)
  • Cise (Copper-indium-selenide)
  • CIGS (Copper-Indium-Gallium Sulfide)
  • CZTS (Copper-Zinc-Tin-sulphides)
  • CZS (Copper-zinc sulphides)

STRUCTURE:

Kesterite or Chalcopyrite

CAPACITORS:

CZS layers can be used as a good capacitor material with 25000 mico farads per square cm. in combination with photovoltaic cells to give a more constant electricity generation.

PHOTOVOLTAIC CELLS:

CIS, CIGS, CISE, CZTS and CZS can be combined with at CdS ink to print low cost solar cells.

Advantages:

  • This inks allow it to reduce production costs of thin film solar cells Because of low material costs very high production speed.
  • Non toxic and abundant materials possible.
  • Suitable for many applications (photoresistor, diod, sensor technology, photovoltaic, energy storage).

Photovoltaic cells:

Low sunlight intencity (0 - 50 W / m 2 )

The excellent characteristic of our material give up to 40% more power than a Silicon cell with the same formal efficiency during one day. At very low light intensity in the morning or evening even 400% more power is possible.

This sensitivity at low light intensity it makes examined solar cells interesting for Nordic countries and therefore for indoor applications. Another big advantage of our printed cells is the high flexibility of the substrates did Allows to make building integrated designs.
